Senior Consultant (Business Transformation)

Location: Brussels, based in the McKinsey Brussels office

What you will do

• Manage and deliver business transformation, implementation, and change management projects across sectors.
• Lead workstreams largely independently with project manager support and progressively take responsibility for project delivery.
• Lead junior consultants and conduct client meetings, workshops, and coaching sessions.
• Support organizational structure redesign, capability building, service redesign, and operational model changes.
• Work closely with clients’ senior management and specialist departments to execute initiatives and achieve agreed outcomes.

Requirements

• Advanced graduate degree and strong academic background; engineering or business administration preferred.
• 3+ years of project delivery experience in a project management office (PMO), preferably in consulting and in implementation, transformation, or change management projects.
• Experience in at least one of the following: operational excellence and implementation, procurement transformation, post-merger integration, or implementation of AI projects reshaping company operations.
• Initial management-level experience and the ability to conduct workshops and coaching sessions.
• Flexibility and agility suited to a consulting environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Business-level fluency in English, Dutch, and French, both verbally and in writing, is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Qualifications in Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, or Jira.
• Functional experience with AI-related solutions, such as analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools.
