Principal/Sr Principal, Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment (HE/HTA)

Location: London, United Kingdom, with additional locations in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Spain.

What you will do

• Own client engagements from understanding needs and developing solutions through project delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with existing and new pharmaceutical and healthcare clients while identifying follow-on and new business opportunities.
• Lead HE/HTA/V&A solutions, including evidence generation strategies, payer and HTA submissions, market access strategy, PRO instrument advice, and real-world evidence strategy.
• Develop educational, go-to-market, and thought-leadership materials, including speaking engagements, client meetings, and publications.
• Ensure high-quality delivery, collaboration, and use of hirify.global's integrated capabilities across complex client projects.
• Mentor and coach others, share subject-matter expertise, and serve as development lead for 3–4 staff.

Requirements

• Master’s degree.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in consulting, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries, focused on HTA or HEOR.
• Experience building relationships, identifying client pain points, and developing custom solutions for HE/HTA stakeholders.
• Experience driving HQ/global deals and developing suitable offerings, with an established network in the pharmaceutical industry and among payers.
• Strong understanding of payer evaluation processes and the factors affecting product development, plus deep commercial awareness of healthcare, health technology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries.
• Experience in market needs assessments and value proposition development.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in presentations and writing, adapt messages to different audiences, and build relationships while selling services.
• Analytical approach to solving problems and reaching logical conclusions from varied, complicated, conflicting, or ambiguous information.
• Ability to understand industry, client, and competitive trends; consider commercial objectives and resource flows; and build supportive, collaborative relationships.
