Business Consultant (Transformation)

Location: Mechelen, Belgium. Hybrid work: office presence is expected at least three days per week during the first six months; remote work from home is available on other days.

What you will do

• Represent the business in strategic and transformational programs across order-to-cash and customer service processes.
• Connect business teams with technology teams, product owners, analysts, architects, and external partners.
• Translate business strategy and operational needs into priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Align stakeholders and shape business cases, validate benefits, and explore value-creating solutions.
• Support delivery and adoption by involving experts in analysis, testing, and training.
• Report progress, risks, issues, and outcomes to business owners and leadership.

Requirements

• Experience in business transformation and the ability to quickly understand processes, customers, and operations.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to priorities, decisions, and value creation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including communication with leadership.
• Ability to work autonomously, connect related areas, and remain effective in complex and ambiguous environments.
• Sufficient digital and technical affinity to collaborate with technology teams and partners.
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of telecom, ICT, agile, ITIL, or PRINCE2.
