Senior Consultant - Orphoz

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; based in the McKinsey office

What you will do

• Manage business transformation workstreams and support the consistent implementation of change programs across organizations.
• Deliver transformation projects across sectors, combining strategic and operational project management with strong execution.
• Lead junior consultants and conduct client meetings and workshops with senior management and specialist departments.
• Drive organizational change, capability building, service redesign, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Coach clients and help ensure long-term project and implementation success.

Requirements

• Advanced graduate degree with a strong academic background, ideally in engineering or business administration.
• At least 3 years of project-delivery experience in a project management office, preferably in consulting and in implementation, transformation, or change-management projects.
• Experience in at least one of operational excellence and implementation, procurement transformation, post-merger integration, or implementing AI projects to reshape company operations.
• Initial management-level experience and the ability to lead workshops and coaching sessions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for explaining complex ideas effectively.
• Business-level fluency in English and Dutch, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
• Flexibility and agility required in a consulting environment.

Nice to have

• Qualifications in Agile, Scrum, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma, or Jira.
• Functional experience with AI-related solutions, including analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools.
