Accountant (Hybrid) Make an impact

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work with attendance in the office at least three days per week

Salary: EUR 1,400–2,400 per month for a full-time role. This is a temporary one-year contract.

What you will do

• Support accurate and timely accounting for hirify.global entities within a global GLAS Operations environment.
• Process and review postings and contribute to monthly close activities.
• Prepare reconciliations and perform basic accounting analyses.
• Support audit and control activities in line with IFRS and internal policies.
• Build knowledge across payroll, leases, fixed assets, intangible assets, taxes and intercompany recharges using SAP and related tools.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• Foundational background in accounting or finance.
• Comfort working with defined processes and accounting systems such as SAP.
• Ability to deliver accurate and timely work, particularly in a monthly close environment.
• Ability to perform reconciliations and basic analyses.
• Understanding of control and quality requirements, with the ability to escalate issues when needed.
• Good attention to detail, a structured approach to work and willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across different locations.
• Openness to change and interest in developing technical expertise across payroll, leases, fixed assets and intangible accounting.
