Accounting Manager

hirify.global is hiring for its Finance function, supporting accounting, tax compliance, reporting, and financial process development.

What you will do

• Prepare legal financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS, including accounting, tax, and monthly and annual closing activities.
• Coordinate closing schedules and internal and external audits, collaborating with auditors through completion and signing.
• Ensure access to required finance, accountancy, and direct tax expertise.
• Contribute to the Finance functional plan and strategic transformation agenda with Process Developer and Components Finance managers.
• Lead an accounting team of 11 colleagues, supporting and challenging their individual development.
• Monitor and improve accounting procedures, bookkeeping processes, controls, resource use, accuracy, and productivity.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of financial and management accounting, tax principles, practices, standards, and regulations.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within an international group of companies.
• Business partnering skills and strong relationship-building abilities.
• Strong business thinking, with the ability to maintain a holistic perspective while working with details.
• Motivation and energy to contribute to the continued transformation and development of the Finance function.
• Fluent English required.
