Senior Application Administrator

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and support SS&C Advent applications and Geneva client environments.
• Investigate and resolve production issues and service requests across managed-services clients.
• Test, document, and improve operational runbooks, procedures, and service processes.
• Manage infrastructure and platform projects from implementation through production support, including project plans and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor junior colleagues, and work with vendors and third-party support teams.
• Participate in the on-call rotation within a global 24x7x365 Technical Operations organization.

Requirements

• Strong experience administering enterprise applications, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
• Significant systems administration experience in complex enterprise environments, including Windows Server administration.
• Extensive application and systems support experience, including vendor and third-party support coordination.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with cloud and virtualized environments using Linux, Windows Server, Citrix, and VMware.
• Experience with scripting, automation, and configuration management technologies such as Shell, PowerShell, Chef, Jenkins, or comparable tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities across projects and operational support, and contribute collaboratively.
• Strong learning agility and ability to adopt and support new technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting or administering SS&C Advent Geneva.
• Experience in financial services technology or with business-critical enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, or cloud-native technologies.
