Senior Program Manager (Federal Contracts)

Location: Alexandria, VA, USA

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Own day-to-day program delivery across scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Manage project team performance and morale, including hiring staff and subcontractors.
• Identify growth and expansion opportunities.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and financial inputs, with direct accountability for project margin and burn rate.
• Review timesheets, invoices, PMR completion, and contract actions.
• Lead audit and compliance readiness as the first line of defense.

Requirements

• BA/BS with 10 years of experience, MA/MS with 8 years of experience, or 14 years of experience.
• PMP certification.

Nice to have

• Experience managing federal contracts and driving CPAR scores.
• People management and technical program management experience.
• Familiarity with USPTO New Ways of Working and Agile.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
