(Associate) Product Manager - Client Data & Onboarding (m/f/x)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin or Munich, Germany

What you will do

• Partner with software engineers, designers, operations, and domain experts to scope, build, and ship client journeys and internal capabilities.
• Improve how clients provide, review, and update personal information and declarations.
• Build products and processes for accurate, transparent handling of client data, statuses, blocks, and lifecycle events.
• Conduct user research, analyse feedback and metrics, and maintain an outcome-oriented backlog through clear user stories and specifications.
• Translate legal, risk, compliance, and business requirements into intuitive, scalable digital products.
• Track product and operational metrics after launch and identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data, Mathematics, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Initial experience from relevant internships, working student positions, or entry-level roles in product management, consulting, operations, or a fast-growing startup, ideally in fintech, banking, or complex environments.
• Hands-on experience with modern agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma, plus familiarity with user-story creation and rapid prototyping.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to bridge technical, operational, and business discussions across engineers, stakeholders, and executives.
• Solution-oriented and proactive approach, strong ownership, attention to detail, resilience, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability, continuous willingness to learn, and genuine interest in digital products, technology, and investing or finance.
