Consulting Manager - Product & Service Innovation (all genders)

Location: Hamburg, Stuttgart, Hannover, Eschborn, or Munich, Germany. Hybrid work is available with the option to work from home up to three days per week depending on client needs.

What you will do

• Lead client engagements in product strategy, product management, technology innovation, and business transformation.
• Develop business models, digital services, value propositions, product visions, strategies, roadmaps, and investment decisions.
• Advise clients across the product lifecycle, from ideation and business cases through launch, product evolution, and next-generation offerings.
• Guide the development of digital, connected, and cyber-physical products as a trusted advisor, coach, and programme lead.
• Assess and optimise product development processes, operating models, governance, portfolio management, and ways of working.
• Build long-term client relationships, shape consulting opportunities, and support delivery from initial conversations through ongoing collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Innovation Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of professional experience combining consulting and industry exposure.
• Experience in product development, product management, R&D, innovation management, or business model innovation.
• Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe, Stage-Gate, Design Thinking, Lean Product Development, or Outcome-Driven Innovation.
• Experience working across business, product, technology, and engineering, with a deep understanding of how products are developed, launched, and evolved.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills across organisational levels.
• Strong analytical thinking, a pragmatic hands-on approach, solution orientation, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Fluent German and English, spoken and written.
