Technical Program Manager (Information Security)

Location: Portland, ME or Boston, MA, United States

Base pay: $100,500.00–$122,100.00 annually

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end technical implementation projects and Information Security initiatives.
• Develop work breakdown structures, milestones, roadmaps, execution plans, and security portfolio workstream plans.
• Monitor delivery, dependencies, risks, integrations, and course corrections across engineering and technology teams.
• Coordinate security governance, architectural standards, and regulatory requirements for internal services.
• Maintain Atlassian data quality, reporting, metrics, financial capitalization, and outcome tracking.
• Lead stakeholder communication, training, and adoption of new processes and technologies across the enterprise.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in senior technical program management roles managing complex, interdependent Information Security projects and enterprise-level change.
• Experience managing security projects across platforms, applications, endpoint security, infrastructure, networks, email security, and cloud or container security.
• Ability to manage scoping, task coordination, budget oversight, and delivery from inception through completion.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, mitigate risks, align cross-functional teams, and work independently across global time zones.
• Experience with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Deep proficiency in Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence; project changes must follow project change-control processes.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders, document findings, explain issues, make recommendations, and identify solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech or highly regulated environments.
• PMP or Agile certifications.
