Technical Program Manager (Electromechanical Equipment)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States of America

Starting salary: $130,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and execute a portfolio of technical and engineering development programs supporting the product and technology roadmap.
• Lead complex, cross-functional development initiatives and shorter-term programs for specific applications or customer requirements.
• Own projects throughout initiation, planning, execution, launch, and closure.
• Coordinate communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple departments.
• Identify, assess, track, and mitigate risks at multiple levels.
• Prepare project information for stakeholders and senior leadership and ensure ISO 9001 processes are followed and documented.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience managing and launching technical or engineering projects.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching complex electro-mechanical capital equipment.
• Strong understanding of technical project and program management methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards related to project management.
• Exceptional organizational and task management skills.
• Ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams, with strong interpersonal skills, assertiveness, diplomacy, and professionalism.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to manage communication both up and down the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience in a technical or engineering project leadership role.

Nice to have

• Technical background in design using SolidWorks, Altium, or a similar CAD package, as well as prototyping and lab testing.
