Assistant Action Vehicle Supervisor

Location: Elstree Centre, Borehamwood, United Kingdom; the role coordinates vehicles across filming locations, studio sites, suppliers, and storage facilities.

Salary: £34,000–£39,700 plus £5,441 London Weighting, depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do

• Support the management, deployment, availability, and safe operation of the EastEnders action vehicle fleet and other production-owned vehicles.
• Coordinate vehicle movements, transport planning, allocation, filming preparation, and vehicle availability.
• Arrange servicing, repairs, MOTs, inspections, and condition checks while maintaining fleet records and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with production teams, cast, crew, and external suppliers regarding vehicle operation requirements.
• Conduct driver licence and compliance checks and deputise for the Action Vehicle Supervisor when required.

Requirements

• Experience in fleet management, transport coordination, vehicle operations, or a similar role within a television drama or production environment.
• Understanding of drama production processes, including script breakdowns and vehicle requirements for filming.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing schedules, roadworthiness standards, and fleet compliance.
• Organisational skills for managing multiple vehicle movements, priorities, and operational demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with cast, crew, and external suppliers, alongside knowledge of health and safety requirements for vehicle operations.
• A full and clean driving licence.
