Senior Software Engineer (Java Full Stack)

Location: Hybrid schedule required near hirify.global's corporate offices in Memphis, TN; Dallas, TX; or McLean, VA, United States. Travel of up to 10% is required.

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Annual Incentive Bonus Plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, APIs, backend services, and microservices supporting hirify.global.com and other customer-facing applications.
• Contribute to full-stack development using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Customize and extend Content Management System capabilities and work with databases such as Couchbase.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Write maintainable code, unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites; participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, delivery managers, quality engineers, designers, and other developers.

Requirements

• At least three years of professional experience in Technology or a related field, including at least three years of hands-on Java application development.
• Experience building large-scale applications with Java, APIs, and microservices, including designing, building, or integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with databases and full-stack application development, with exposure to React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of web application design patterns and scalable application development.
• Experience using Git for version control within a development team.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Docker.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule near one of hirify.global's three U.S. corporate office locations.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's Degree plus 5+ years of Technology-related experience, or a High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology-related experience.
• Five or more years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Experience developing applications within a Content Management System and professional CMS certifications.
• Experience with Couchbase, MongoDB, or other database technologies.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, React user interfaces, Docker, and containerized applications.
