Software Engineer II - Full Stack (Java/React)

Location: Austin, TX; hybrid with in-office work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. U.S.-based candidates must reside in one of the approved states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming.

Salary: $120,000–$135,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Build, test, and maintain customer-facing and internal features across web applications, mobile applications, RESTful API services, data pipelines, and DevOps systems.
• Develop frontend functionality with JavaScript using Vue or React and backend services with Java.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in AWS to support reliable and observable production services.
• Own well-defined features from implementation through release and ongoing improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, incorporate feedback, and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership, product, and design to clarify requirements and solve customer problems.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Frontend experience with Vue, React, or Angular.
• Backend experience with Java, Kotlin, C#, or a similar language.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, automated testing, and troubleshooting applications in production.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to write, test, or debug code, with the judgment to validate their output.
• Ability to independently own well-defined features through release, work through routine challenges, and seek guidance when requirements or technical decisions are unclear.
• Clear communication with engineering, product, and design partners, including asking thoughtful questions, incorporating feedback, and communicating progress and blockers.
