Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer (Java/Angular)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and implement ETF application systems using well-structured, efficient code.
• Build automated test suites and quality-assurance procedures, participate in code reviews, and integrate software components.
• Deliver software through CI/CD, automation, DevOps practices, rapid iterations, and frequent releases.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, support, and multi-location teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support production releases through deployment validation, issue triage, and post-release activities.
• Apply an AI-first approach to coding, testing, remediation, and code quality across the SDLC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of professional experience and practical expertise.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Strong backend experience with Java 17 or later, Spring 6, and Spring Boot 4, including Core Java, multithreading, memory usage, and large data transfer.
• Frontend proficiency with Angular 18 or later, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and managing client-facing RESTful web services and APIs for inter-process communication.
• Experience with MSSQL or Oracle databases, caching frameworks such as Hazelcast, and messaging technologies such as Kafka, FIX with QuickFixJ, or MQ.
• Strong understanding of testing frameworks and utility libraries including JUnit, TestContainers, Mockito, Playwright, and Apache.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders and external clients.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT security models.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, MCP, or AI development tools such as Codex, Claude, or Windsurf.
• Familiarity with configuring GitLab CI/CD and DevOps.
• Experience with container-based cloud frameworks or Docker/Podman.
• Understanding of ETFs or a general financial-services background.
