Localization AI Content Specialist

Location: Barcelona, Spain (Remote). Full-time schedule with occasional travel and day shift.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, govern, and continuously optimize AI-powered localization solutions, including machine translation, generative AI, prompt-based workflows, and autonomous AI agents.
• Manage machine translation platforms, localization technologies, linguistic assets, terminology databases, translation memories, prompt libraries, and AI training datasets.
• Build and maintain AI agents and automation workflows for multilingual content creation, localization, quality assurance, and content delivery.
• Design prompts, retrieval strategies, quality evaluation frameworks, LQA methodologies, and automated quality scoring to improve translation quality and terminology compliance.
• Partner with Digital, IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners to evaluate, implement, benchmark, and scale AI-enabled localization initiatives.
• Analyze performance metrics, conduct proofs of concept, troubleshoot complex workflows, and support AI governance, risk management, compliance, and responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Content, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in localization, language technology, content operations, or multilingual content management.
• Hands-on experience with Translation Management Systems and localization technologies.
• Familiarity with machine translation, generative AI tools, large language models, and AI-assisted content workflows.
• Experience creating and refining prompts, reviewing and annotating AI-generated or machine-translated content, and managing translation memories and terminology.
• Ability to analyze localization and quality data, identify trends, measure performance, and support process improvements.
• Familiarity with CMS, DAM, PIM, and related digital content platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with Marketing, Digital, IT, and external vendors.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Experience supporting system integrations, workflow automation, or localization process optimization initiatives.
• Interest in building, testing, or supporting AI agents, copilots, chatbots, or workflow automation solutions.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging AI, automation, and localization technologies.
• Additional language skills.
