Engineer Sr, Mfg Equipment

Location: Pathumthani (Navanakorn), Thailand; onsite manufacturing role.

hirify.global is seeking an engineer to coordinate manufacturing equipment procurement and production expansion execution.

What you will do

• Plan and prioritize equipment procurement in alignment with production expansion plans, consolidate station BOMs, and coordinate with Engineering and Procurement teams.
• Review equipment specifications and technical requirements, identify gaps, and coordinate resolutions with engineering stakeholders and suppliers.
• Develop and monitor procurement schedules covering purchase orders, delivery, installation, and project milestones.
• Track CAPEX actual costs, committed costs, remaining budgets, variances, asset values, capitalization dates, and depreciation information.
• Maintain project trackers and reports, communicate progress and risks, escalate delays, and drive corrective actions through production readiness.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across Engineering, Procurement, Finance, suppliers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects within timeline and budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in equipment procurement, CAPEX management, project coordination, or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to review equipment specifications and technical requirements and resolve gaps with engineering teams.
• Working knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, supplier coordination, and equipment delivery schedules.
• Experience tracking CAPEX budgets, actual and committed costs, budget variances, and project expenses.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and project tracking or reporting tool skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, monitor milestones, identify risks, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across Engineering, Procurement, Finance, suppliers, and other stakeholders; detail-oriented, proactive, accountable, and organized.
• Good command of English is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting production expansion, equipment installation, or new production line setup.
• Familiarity with fixed asset records, capitalization, and depreciation tracking.
