Software Engineer (Data Enablement)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate software products, services, and APIs for data discovery and consumption.
• Develop integrations across Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Collibra, SAP, M3, and other enterprise systems.
• Build metadata visibility, data lineage, self-service access, and trusted data consumption capabilities.
• Create reusable platform services, automation, and engineering tooling that simplify the user experience.
• Apply CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, observability, and other modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Management specialists, architects, and platform teams while improving scalability, reliability, performance, usability, and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience in software engineering and modern development practices.
• Experience building applications, APIs, microservices, or platform capabilities.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of distributed systems, system integration, and scalable software architecture.
• Interest in data platforms, metadata, governance, and developer experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a passion for building products that enable others to succeed.
