Senior Engineer, Data Model & Agent-first Building (AI)

Location: On-site by default at Linnégatan 89B, Stockholm, Sweden

hirify.global is an agentic construction platform backed by Northzone and Y Combinator. Agents read tender documents, extract requirements, compare them with contractor data, and draft bids, reviews, and change orders.

What you will do

• Own the ontology for organisations, subsidiaries, projects, documents, versions, requirements, company facts, standards, bids, and answers.
• Design parsing, extraction, entity-resolution, and backfill pipelines that convert unstructured documents into trusted, versioned data.
• Define permissions, tenant isolation, schemas, migrations, and typed tools used by agents to read and write data.
• Build evals, verification workflows, automated checks, and repository playbooks that enable reliable agent-assisted development.
• Improve the data model and ship production changes during the first 30 days, model and integrate three additional concepts by day 60, and enable the product team to ship on the model by day 90.

Requirements

• Experience designing and owning a product data model and evolving it through migrations and backfills.
• Experience building pipelines that transform messy, unstructured documents into trusted structured data.
• Strong TypeScript and/or Python skills, with relational and reactive databases.
• Production experience building LLM features, including tool use, retrieval, structured output, and evals.
• Daily experience shipping with coding agents and verifying their work without reading every line.
• Clear written communication, including documenting decisions and interfaces.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience in document-heavy domains such as legal, construction, procurement, or compliance.
• Ontology, knowledge-graph, or entity-resolution experience.
• Experience with Convex or Cloudflare Workers.
• Experience building eval harnesses, CI checks, or MCP servers used by other engineers.
• Swedish.
