Senior Project Manager SAP MES (S/4HANA) (Pharma)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end SAP MES implementation, interface, upgrade, and optimization projects from initiation through closure.
• Plan resources, budgets, milestones, deliverables, and project risks to support on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Manage cross-functional teams across IT, operations, quality, and regulatory functions.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and system performance to identify and implement data-driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and EMA requirements and support change management and system adoption.
• Report project status and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders while mentoring junior project managers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years managing SAP MES implementations in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.
• Expertise in SAP MES interfacing, configuration, customization, and system optimization.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP standards, and FDA and EMA regulatory requirements.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent agile certification.
• Experience managing complex, multi-site projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with budget management and resource planning.

• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement methodology training.
• Change management expertise and experience leading organizational transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing sites or global project portfolios.
