Senior Project Engineer - Piping

What you will do

• Lead the planning, management, monitoring, and control of engineering deliverables from project initiation through commissioning and handover.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, coordinating design, constructability, and programme alignment.
• Chair design reviews and technical workshops, resolve engineering challenges, and mitigate project risks.
• Guide design decisions while balancing engineering integrity, cost efficiency, sustainability, and programme delivery.
• Oversee the General Contractor’s engineering scope planning, sequencing, and site execution, including inspections and leadership walks.
• Review technical submittals, change controls, RFIs, and value engineering proposals; support cost, commercial, risk, and programme impact analysis.

Requirements

• Significant experience in technical project management within large-scale construction or data centre environments.
• Strong leadership capability across engineering and delivery teams.
• Extensive experience in design management, documentation control, and construction coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, or a related discipline.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of risk, programme controls, and cost implications.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Professionalism, integrity, and clear communication when building trusted relationships.
