Senior .Net Developer (Wealth Technology)

What you will do

• Own backend features and services from requirements and solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design and develop REST and GraphQL APIs, background processing, and integrations using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build reliable asynchronous workflows with message delivery guarantees, retries, idempotency, and data consistency.
• Design relational data models, database access patterns, API contracts, and backwards-compatible schema changes.
• Build automated testing, structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing to support reliable production services.
• Contribute to architecture dechirify.globalns, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and developer mentoring while balancing reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Strong experience with C# and .NET, including production applications built with ASP.NET Core and REST and GraphQL API development.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, multithreading, concurrency, shared state, cancellation, synchronisation, and resource management.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging, including delivery guarantees, retries, idempotency, and error handling.
• Strong relational database fundamentals, including SQL, schema design, indexing, transactions, and query performance, using PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and cloud environments, including packaging, configuration, deployment, and support of backend applications.
• Strong software engineering practices, including clean and maintainable code, KISS, DRY, SOLID, defensive programming, validation, and robust error handling.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and using structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Understanding of application security, including authentication, authorisation, and secure handling of sensitive data.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems, branching, pull requests, and collaborative code review, plus ownership and clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

• Strong familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Helm and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with modular monoliths, distributed systems, financial systems, investment platforms, or related applications.
• Familiarity with Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and caching strategies.
