Associate Director - Strategy Analytics (Fintech)

Location: London, UK; hybrid. Work from home is available on Mondays and Fridays, with office attendance on other weekdays.

What you will do

• Own the prime lending strategy, roadmap, KPIs, growth targets, balances, and risk-adjusted returns.
• Set pricing and promotional strategies across APRs, balance transfers, purchases, cashback, and fees using experimentation and scenario modelling.
• Partner with Credit Risk, Data Science, Growth, and Product to improve portfolio performance, pricing, acquisition, campaigns, conversion, and customer value.
• Use predictive models and AI to accelerate analysis, testing, pricing, and acquisition decisions.
• Present concise, data-backed proposals to senior leadership and turn strategy into execution.
• Hire and lead an analytics team from Analyst through Senior Manager.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, analytics, or commercial roles within unsecured lending.
• 5+ years of experience leading analytical teams, ideally including managers.
• Proven experience owning and growing a portfolio, product, or P&L.
• Deep understanding of pricing, credit risk, and lending unit economics.
• Strong analytical skills, ideally including SQL and Python.
• AI-first mindset with the ability to increase the pace of sizing, testing, and implementing ideas.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and inspire teams to deliver ambitious outcomes.
