Shift Manager (Warehouse Operations)

Location: Dourges, Pas-de-Calais, France, at hirify.global Go's new onsite sorting hub near Lille. The role works on an assigned early, late, or night shift within an operation running Monday to Saturday.

Salary: €40,000–€45,000 gross per year.

What you will do

• Lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely parcel processing against productivity, quality, and delivery targets.
• Manage, coach, and develop Team Leaders and warehouse operatives while supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Track operational KPIs, identify bottlenecks and performance gaps, and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Plan workforce allocation, staffing levels, skills, and resources for changing volumes and priorities.
• Ensure safety, compliance, equipment and workstation readiness, coordinating with Maintenance and support teams on operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement, cross-functional projects, operational communication, shift handovers, and process optimization.

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience in warehouse operations and team management.
• Either a recent graduate ready for a first leadership challenge or 1–2 years of management or supervisory experience, ideally in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or another fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong operational mindset with interest in warehouse processes, productivity standards, operational KPIs, and workforce planning.
• Leadership potential and people-management skills, including motivating, coaching, challenging, and developing teams.
• Analytical, organized, solution-oriented, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to make quick decisions in a high-volume environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, operational discipline, and HR-policy compliance; hands-on presence on the warehouse floor.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with Team Leaders, operatives, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Fluent French and good working proficiency in English.
• Availability to work an assigned early, late, or night shift in an operation running Monday to Saturday.
