Mechanical Engineer V (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $163,000–$224,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and implement concepts for significantly complex product issues and engineering solutions.
• Lead or execute engineering projects and research and development of new technologies.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex engineering problems and perform or specify engineering analyses.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, specifications, tooling, and associated processes.
• Generate product specifications; define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to address complex engineering issues and High Value Problems, while reviewing engineering documentation and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10–15 years of experience.
• Deep technical expertise in the relevant field and deep knowledge of the hirify.global product life cycle.
• In-depth knowledge of other disciplines within the function.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for explaining difficult or sensitive information and building consensus.
