Java Engineer (Business Banking Lending)

What you will do

• Write Java 17+ code and design high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical business lending systems.
• Build and maintain high-availability, high-performance backend applications supporting instant and fast-track online lending models.
• Conduct code reviews, share knowledge, test software, and investigate and resolve defects in test, acceptance, and production environments.
• Prepare and participate in software component releases through automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Grow novice engineers through guidance and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• University or master’s degree in Information Technology.
• More than 5 years of relevant domain experience.
• Experience designing Java-based backend applications with Java EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Cassandra, Oracle, or other database technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and code-quality tooling, including Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Experience working with Agile methodology.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin or other JVM languages.
• Experience with Kafka and Tomcat.
• Experience in application and system security.
• Experience with network components and infrastructure.
• Experience developing financial applications.
