Director, HR Business Partners (Commercial & Product)

Location: Remote - US; travel may be required based on location and business needs.

Estimated pay range: $170,000.00–$221,000.00.

What you will do

• Provide strategic HR partnership to Commercial and Product executives across Sales, Marketing, and Product.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR Business Partner team while serving as a player-coach.
• Develop workforce plans covering organizational capabilities, headcount, talent pipelines, organizational design, and M&A integration.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, internal mobility, and team-effectiveness initiatives.
• Diagnose organizational challenges and guide leaders through growth, restructuring, transformation, and change.
• Partner on employee relations, performance, rewards, sales compensation, and people-process execution.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent professional qualification required; an MBA, master’s, or other advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 15 years of progressive HR experience, including significant strategic HR Business Partner experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing HR Business Partners or similar business-facing HR professionals.
• Broad HR generalist expertise across talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee relations, performance, rewards, and change management.
• Experience developing people strategies for Commercial organizations covering Sales, Marketing, and Product, including commission-based or similar incentive compensation.
• Experience with talent reviews, succession planning, organizational design, leadership development, workforce planning, executive coaching, leadership assessment, and team effectiveness.
• Ability to influence and coach executive-level leaders, connect people strategies to commercial results, and operate in a matrixed environment with HR, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, manage complex projects, and lead change in a fast-growing business with a global footprint.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools such as CoPilot; intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and HRIS experience required. Workday experience is preferred.
