Power Plant Control System Administrator (T3000)

Location: Genova, Italy; remote support combined with on-site customer activities, business travel across Italy and abroad, and participation in a scheduled H24 on-call rotation.

Salary: €45,000–€65,000 gross per year, including fixed and variable components.

What you will do

• Administer, monitor, and maintain power plant control systems and infrastructure to ensure availability, cybersecurity, and reliable performance.
• Perform installations, upgrades, extensions, migrations, backups, and recovery activities remotely and at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for T3000, WinCC OA, PCS 7, WinCC, and TIA Portal platforms.
• Execute preventive and corrective field service activities, including inspections, fault diagnosis, testing, commissioning, and technical reporting.
• Collaborate with customers, engineering teams, and service specialists on technical solutions, service coordination, and modernization projects.

Requirements

• Degree or technical diploma in Automation, Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience in industrial automation, power plant control systems, system administration, or field service activities.
• Knowledge of one or more of T3000, WinCC OA, PCS 7, WinCC, or TIA Portal.
• Familiarity with Windows environments, networking, virtualization, backup solutions, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Fluent Italian and good English.
• Availability for short- and medium-term business travel and a scheduled H24 on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Programming and scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++.
• Knowledge of German.
