IT Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid with two required in-office days per week on Tuesday and Thursday, with the option to request additional remote time.

Initial salary: starting from €32,000 gross per annum; final compensation is tailored to experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Build and maintain workflow automation with n8n and Make to connect business systems and reduce manual work.
• Handle complex Tier 2 support tickets by triaging, investigating, and resolving issues.
• Administer and secure Google Workspace, Slack, Keeper, and related onboarding, offboarding, and security policies.
• Configure and deploy devices through MDM platforms including Jamf, Knox, and Google Workspace, while monitoring endpoint security with EDR tools.
• Manage hardware from purchase through retirement and prioritize ITSM tickets according to business impact and SLAs.
• Manage and troubleshoot local Wi-Fi, firewall, and DNS infrastructure to reduce reliance on external providers during outages.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining complex integrations with Make and n8n.
• Proven experience in Tier 2 IT support and local network infrastructure management.
• Strong skills managing user identities and access across core business tools such as Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with modern MDM solutions, including Jamf and Knox, and EDR tools for proactive threat mitigation.
• Solid understanding of IT asset management and ticket prioritization methods.
• Passion for technology and automation, with a focus on optimizing, securing, and streamlining IT operations.
