Consulting Solutions Engineer (DevOps)

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives throughout the technical sales cycle and lead discovery sessions across DevOps, Service Management, and Work Management.
• Design scalable, secure, user-centric architectures covering CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud-native systems, ITSM, ESM, workflow automation, and work management.
• Lead workshops, tailored demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, RFP/RFI responses, solution scoping, pricing inputs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Act as a trusted advisor on software delivery, service operations, collaboration, governance, transformation, and optimisation.
• Map customer processes to platform capabilities and advise on deployment models, integrations, reporting, dashboards, resource planning, SLA management, and workflow optimisation.
• Collaborate with Field CTO Practices, Marketing, Sales, and Delivery teams, contribute to reusable solution assets, and relay customer feedback to influence roadmaps.

Requirements

• Fluent written and verbal Italian is required.
• Experience in Solutions Engineering or consulting, with strong experience in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience with DevOps, including CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket, or TeamCity.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; secrets management platforms; containerisation and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift.
• Knowledge of DevOps frameworks such as Space, DORA, CALMS, or Team Topologies, and experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with service management platforms such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or similar, plus understanding of ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, and request management.
• Knowledge of ITIL and hands-on experience with work or project management platforms such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar.
• Strong understanding of workflow design, task management, and team collaboration tools, plus strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, workshop, and demonstration skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
