J2ME Developer (Java/BREW)

Location: Incline Village, Nevada, United States; relocation to the Lake Tahoe area is available for candidates with strong J2ME skills.

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop wireless Java and mobile applications using J2ME.
• Work with BREW and associated technologies.
• Program with Motorola, Ericsson, or Sony SDKs.
• Use Eclipse, CVS, SQL, and Linux in the development workflow.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles to mobile software.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Java Engineer or Java Developer with wireless and J2ME experience.
• Strong J2ME wireless Java programming experience.
• Strong knowledge of BREW and associated technologies.
• Experience developing mobile applications.
• Knowledge of Motorola, Ericsson, or Sony SDK programming.
• Working knowledge of Eclipse, CVS, SQL, and Linux.
• Object-oriented programming experience.
