Software Engineer III (iOS/Android)

Salary: $117,000–$234,000 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Develop and configure mobile application components that meet functional, non-functional, availability, scalability, maintainability, and security requirements.
• Build iOS and Android applications using appropriate languages, frameworks, development standards, and tools.
• Create automation scripts for CI/CD, testing, and other repetitive processes; implement telemetry features.
• Define test objectives and cases, execute functional and regression testing, analyze defects, and perform bug fixes.
• Monitor application metrics and logs, troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks, and conduct maintenance and re-engineering activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, maintain traceability, support business solutions, and meet approved milestones.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area; or a bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of these areas and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related area. Any amount of experience with the required skills will be accepted.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, including Swift, Objective-C, and Kotlin, for iOS and Android application development.
• Knowledge of design patterns, scalable and maintainable architecture, client-server architecture, MVC, MVVM, and mobile systems architecture.
• Experience with UIKit, Foundation, CoreGraphics, AndroidX, RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP.
• Knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines, Android Material Design, accessibility standards, and mobile application security best practices.
• Experience with performance optimization, memory tuning, multithreading, Grand Central Dispatch, and Coroutines.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixing.
