Mobile Application Architect

Location: Remote; role location listed as Irving / Las Colinas, Texas, United States. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or H-1B transfer candidates.

Salary: $115,000–$165,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop or guide mobile application features, architecture, and reusable components.
• Integrate mobile experiences with APIs, identity, analytics, notifications, and device capabilities.
• Ensure responsive behavior, accessibility, performance, and secure handling of user data.
• Create automated tests and troubleshoot device, operating system, network, and release issues.
• Coordinate with product, design, backend, QA, and release teams across the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of experience in a related professional role.
• Practical experience with iOS/Android architecture, Swift or Kotlin, React Native or Flutter, API integration, mobile security, testing, and release engineering.
• Professional experience in mobile application development, testing, architecture, or design.
• Knowledge of iOS, Android, or relevant cross-platform technologies.
• Experience with the mobile application lifecycle, APIs, device capabilities, and debugging.
• Understanding of mobile testing, performance, accessibility, and secure data handling.
• Ability to collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Additional hands-on depth in the role-specific mobile technology stack.
• Experience defining solution architecture, technical standards, and design governance across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or applicable regulatory requirements.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the technology area.
