AI Strategy & Innovation Lead

What you will do

• Drive and coordinate AI initiatives across Hardware, Systems, and Embedded organizations.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve business and engineering value, including efficiency, quality, and innovation in hardware development.
• Support development teams with AI-based methods, tools, and ways of working.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts and collaborate with technical experts, architects, and leaders to integrate AI into development processes and products.
• Monitor the AI landscape, translate emerging opportunities into initiatives, and contribute to decisions on AI platforms, tools, and investments.
• Conduct workshops and training, coach development teams, and act as an internal AI competence leader and mentor.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or technical product development.
• Proven experience with AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong understanding of applying AI to product development, testing, documentation, and engineering workflows.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and educationally.
• Strong drive to turn new ideas into practical value.
• Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, AI frameworks, or modern AI platforms.
• Experience building engagement, creating alignment, and leading change within engineering organizations.
