Partner Specializations Lead (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid policy requires staff to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more

Annual OTE compensation: $300,000–$365,000 USD

What you will do

• Own specialization requirements, evidence standards, benefits, and updates for the Claude Partner Network.
• Run evaluation cycles from partner invitation through evidence collection, review, qualification decisions, and documentation.
• Communicate outcomes and guidance, including declines and borderline decisions, to partner executives and internal account teams.
• Expand the program across the partner network and recommend new specializations based on customer demand, partner readiness, and company priorities.
• Coordinate Applied AI, Product, industry go-to-market, marketing, enablement, technical support, and partner teams to deliver specializations and benefits.
• Build renewals, remediation periods, appeals, reporting, partner guidance, and scalable review workflows using Claude and automation.

Requirements

• Experience owning an external-facing program with published requirements, including at least one complete evaluation, qualification, or renewal cycle.
• Experience making eligibility decisions against written standards and communicating decisions, including declines, to senior external stakeholders.
• Regular experience working with CRM or PRM data, such as Salesforce reports or a partner portal.
• Strong writing skills for clear program requirements, decision memos, and partner-facing guidance requiring little editing.
• Experience leading work to a fixed date across teams not directly managed, including operations, marketing, enablement, and field teams.
• Ability to work effectively while processes and details are still being developed.
• Excitement about Anthropic’s mission to develop safe and beneficial AI.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and/or experience; relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience designing or running partner competency, specialization, or credential programs at a technology company.
• Experience with services partners such as systems integrators or consultancies, from either a vendor or partner-firm perspective.
• SQL or business-intelligence skills sufficient to pull and validate program data.
• Experience taking a program from initial launch to a repeatable operating cycle and launching it publicly with marketing and communications partners.
• Technical depth to evaluate evidence of software or AI deployments.
• Experience with regulated or specialized industries, partner benefits or incentives, and AI workflows using Claude or similar tools.
