Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Onsite in San Francisco or New York City, United States

Salary: $155K–$220K per year

What you will do

• Identify high-leverage business problems with cross-functional partners and drive them to resolution.
• Use data to form recommendations, shape priorities, and influence the roadmap.
• Define core business, product, and operations metrics and maintain the company-wide data dictionary.
• Own A/B experiments from hypothesis and test design through analysis and ship decisions.
• Design and build reliable ETL pipelines and data models with trustworthy documentation.
• Perform experimentation, deep-dive analysis, forecasting, dashboarding, and modeling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on a cross-functional team as a product Data Scientist.
• Experience turning ambiguous problems into clear recommendations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while owning work end-to-end.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and agentic workflows.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for validating AI coding tool output.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data models, including tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Experience defining company-wide metrics, building a data dictionary, or establishing analytics governance.
• Experience with audio data, data research companies, or LALM evaluations.
