Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Remote; full-time salaried employees must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.

Salary: $140K–$160K per year, plus potential equity.

hirify.global is building an AI-powered platform for managing car, home, motorcycle, RV, and other physical assets, including insurance, diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and sales.

What you will do

• Embed within growth, product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships and own the analytical function for the business area end to end.
• Define business questions, clarify the decisions they should inform, and challenge flawed problem framing.
• Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface insights that improve key business metrics.
• Present recommendations to product, growth, finance, and operations stakeholders, explaining what is happening, why, and what to do next.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently pull, structure, and interpret data.
• Comfort with SQL or Python.
• Experience owning ambiguous problems and delivering measurable impact.
• Clear, persuasive communication skills and the ability to influence leadership-level decisions.
• First-principles thinking, including forming clear hypotheses before working with data.
• Direct communication, precise writing, and the ability to explain complex findings and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Strong ownership and willingness to fix problems beyond a defined area of responsibility.
