What you will do

• Build and assess analytic models tailored to mission-specific needs.
• Apply data science techniques to geospatial/GIS, time-series, and natural language processing datasets.
• Develop reproducible workflows and maintain data integrity.
• Explore, clean, organize, curate, and assess large datasets with varying levels of structure and cleanliness.
• Communicate mathematical, statistical, and computer science conclusions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or in a related analytical role.
• Experience with one or more of geospatial/GIS analysis, time-series analysis, natural language processing, or large language model usage; LLM creation or training is excluded.
• Programming experience with Python, Bash, and SQL.
• Experience using Jupyter Notebook or JupyterLab.
• Experience with Python libraries including Pandas, GeoPandas, NumPy, PySpark, SciPy, Plotly, or Plotly Dash.
• Experience with ETL, data cleaning, data management, data analytics, and data visualization.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Applicants must provide documentation verifying U.S. person status for ITAR/EAR compliance; some positions may require current U.S. citizenship.
• Experience with problem decomposition and analytical solution development, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
