Senior Informaticist (Pharmacy Prior Authorization)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required for training or meetings. Dedicated workspace and internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload required to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.

Salary: $97,900–$133,500 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead complex analytical programs supporting hirify.global Clinical Pharmacy Review and pharmacy Prior Authorization from problem identification through implementation and measurement.
• Translate ambiguous clinical, operational, business, and Prior Authorization questions into analytical approaches and recommendations.
• Analyze Prior Authorization activity and operational performance to identify trends, drivers, process gaps, data-quality issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Combine governed data across pharmacy claims, membership, clinical, operational, and other healthcare sources to explain performance and outcomes.
• Support regulatory and compliance reporting, communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership, and develop reporting and decision-support solutions.
• Modernize HCPR analytics using tools such as Databricks and Power BI while maintaining data governance and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience solving complex business problems through analytics, healthcare operations, informatics, strategy, consulting, engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including defining problems, establishing analytical approaches, and developing solutions without an established process.
• Experience translating business and operational goals into measurable analytical approaches and outcomes.
• Experience summarizing information across diverse data sources and identifying trends, relationships, and potential causes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including communicating complex analytical findings to all audiences and influencing action.
• Experience with healthcare, pharmacy, Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, claims, Prior Authorization, or population health data.
• Experience with analytical technologies such as SQL, Databricks, Power BI, Python, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Experience managing complex analytical efforts involving multiple business and technical partners.
• Experience working in regulated environments where data accuracy, governance, compliance, and reporting integrity are critical.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmacy Prior Authorization or utilization management processes.
• Experience supporting Medicare or Medicaid pharmacy operations and regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of pharmacy claims, clinical review, coverage determination, or related pharmacy operational processes.
• Experience developing enterprise reporting solutions using Databricks and Power BI.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative, analytical, healthcare, business, or technical field.
• Experience in informatics, healthcare analytics, process improvement, consulting, strategy, or operations research.
