Principal Product Manager, Agentic AI Platform

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions

Base salary: $195,600–$312,400 annually in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC; $185,800–$296,800 annually in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia. Equity awards are also available.

What you will do

• Shape the technical roadmap for a shared agentic AI platform with product, engineering, and science partners.
• Define contracts, registries, gateways, developer paths, reference integrations, context, memory, orchestration, harnesses, and evaluation standards.
• Onboard 2–3 flagship experience teams, define graduation criteria, and scale the proving-team model.
• Make architecture decisions with named owners and deadlines, and turn cross-organizational dependencies into explicit commitments.
• Bridge engineering, agentic science, and data needs, including source-of-truth debates, schema decisions, facts versus inferences, and hill-climbing.
• Define platform success metrics including reuse, time-to-first-agent, cost per team, and experience coherence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of product management experience, including platform or infrastructure products serving product and engineering teams.
• Hands-on depth with LLM and agentic systems, including orchestration, context engineering, memory, RAG, and evaluation design.
• Track record of driving adoption through influence across organizations with different incentives and roadmaps.
• Ability to write concise, compelling, decision-forcing documents for SVP-level audiences and execute against them.
• Comfort with ambiguity, contested ownership, and resolving scope disputes through clear boundary-setting.
• Ability to align engineering, science, and domain teams and turn differing viewpoints into decisions.

Nice to have

• Data mesh or federated data platform experience.
• Experience with experimentation and A/B testing on AI features.
• Consumer marketplace or two-sided consumer-and-professional product experience.
