Manager, Engineering II

Location: Hybrid work from hirify.global offices in San Francisco, CA, United States; part-time telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $208,104.00–$250,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Manage and grow the engineering team by understanding team dynamics, culture, and roadmap needs.
• Develop and execute product roadmaps with product managers and designers, setting a clear vision and fostering innovation.
• Build, design, and test new features and systems with cross-functional teams.
• Foster technical excellence and deliver high-quality products that scale under tight deadlines.
• Address organizational challenges, represent hirify.global to prospects and customers, and support product development aligned with the company vision.
• Mentor team members, provide feedback, and assist with recruiting engineers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Management Information Systems or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in the offered role or a related occupation; any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
• Development experience with object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience with a public cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Deep understanding of public cloud networking concepts and network security principles.
• Experience with Agile development methodology, Test-Driven Development, code review, all phases of the SDLC, and CI/CD pipelines.
