Staff Technical Program Manager - AI/ML

Salary: $206,800–$310,200 USD base pay annually

What you will do

• Own delivery roadmaps for production AI/ML systems from model concept through training, deployment, and post-launch monitoring.
• Define success criteria with business partners and translate accuracy, latency, and cost-per-inference targets into milestones and dependencies.
• Align engineering, applied science, product, data analytics, and other stakeholders on scope, trade-offs, and sequencing.
• Monitor model and system health, adoption, drift, cost, and incident rates, driving remediation when metrics degrade.
• Manage cross-team and cross-timezone dependencies, vendor relationships, production readiness, and issue tracking.
• Communicate program status, risks, and trade-offs while resolving conflicts between technical approaches and priorities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a technical program manager, including at least 3 years in AI/ML or applied data science delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Working fluency in the ML lifecycle, including data quality, infrastructure, model performance, and deployment blockers.
• Experience running distributed, cross-timezone engineering programs end to end.
• Ability to drive decisions among senior technical stakeholders without formal authority.
• Experience managing agile/scrum execution, including sprint planning, backlog health, and velocity tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical, executive, and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Gaming experience.
• Direct experience with trust and safety, personalization, recommendation, or experimentation AI/ML domains.
• Hands-on software development experience.
• Experience with ML infrastructure tooling such as feature stores, experimentation platforms, model registries, and MLOps pipelines.
• Experience working under or alongside engineering leadership.
• Curiosity and continued learning of AI/ML techniques and tooling.
