Strategy Associate Consultant - Pricing & Market Access

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working combines work from home with on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices. Client-facing travel is required as project needs dictate.

What you will do

• Support pricing and market access strategy engagements for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
• Research payer, competitor, policy, reimbursement, and market access landscapes and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
• Develop and localise value propositions aligned with payer expectations, health-system requirements, and policy environments.
• Contribute to launch pricing, access strategy, launch sequencing, early-access programmes, pricing scenarios, price targets, floors, corridors, and international reference pricing analyses.
• Support product lifecycle strategy from pre-launch through post-launch and loss of exclusivity, including evidence generation.
• Own defined project workstreams, synthesise complex information, prepare client recommendations and presentations, and contribute to methodologies and thought leadership.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in life sciences consulting and/or the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or wider healthcare industry.
• Experience in pricing, market access, reimbursement, value strategy, health economics, payer research, HTA, or launch strategy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex information into commercially relevant insights.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical development and commercialisation, and interest in factors determining patient access to innovative medicines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present analyses and recommendations clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in collaborative, international project teams.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree; life sciences, health economics, public health, economics, business, or a related discipline is particularly relevant.
• Work authorization for the intended country of employment is required or must be obtainable.
