Regional EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Rancho Dominguez, California, United States; on-site support required, with occasional overnight travel

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 annually in the United States; variable cash programs and eligible equity may also apply.

What you will do

• Lead EHS programs for the Rancho Dominguez manufacturing site and DTC Warehouse, supporting the Filtration & Systems Business Units and additional U.S. or international locations as needed.
• Translate global corporate EHS objectives and management-system requirements into local operating procedures and employee routines.
• Partner with site, Business Unit, HR, Facilities, operations, landlords, contractors, and other stakeholders to manage risks and resolve EHS issues.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, data analysis, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Oversee hazardous-material and waste handling, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, permits, and required documentation.
• Deliver safety training, lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis, and track preventive actions and continuous-learning initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Sciences.
• Certification such as CHMM, CSP, or CIH.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations, environmental regulations, and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• 5–8 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience working under an ISO 9001-based QMS.
• Strong computer, attention-to-detail, recordkeeping, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to promote and influence EHS initiatives and collaborate effectively with stakeholders when resolving EHS concerns.
