Enterprise Resource Planning Business Analyst Manager (SAP S/4HANA)

Salary: $120,000–$207,000 base annually, with placement determined by skills, experience, business needs, geographic location, progression, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Document accounting process narratives, SOPs, controls, and procedures for SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems.
• Analyze accounting processes across international regions and entities, identify gaps between legacy ERP environments and SAP S/4HANA, and define future-state processes aligned with global templates, policies, and local statutory reporting.
• Create test scenarios, scripts, and expected results for Record-to-Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Sales, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Close processes.
• Execute UAT, integration testing, and business-process validation; validate data conversion and reconciliation results.
• Resolve process, configuration, and reporting issues with business stakeholders, implementation partners, Accounting, Finance, and IT.
• Support risk and control assessments, process improvements, cutover, go-live, stabilization, and standardization with global process owners and regional finance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is preferred.
• 5+ years of global accounting process management experience, including work across multiple entities or global accounting environments.
• 2+ years of hands-on SAP financial systems experience and experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany, and Financial Close processes.
• Experience writing SOPs, business-process documentation, and control narratives.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
• Knowledge of ERP migrations and finance transformation programs.
• Experience supporting UAT, SIT, and finance-process testing.

Nice to have

• CPA qualification.
• Ledger migrations and chart-of-accounts redesign experience.
• Experience with finance transformation or ERP modernization initiatives.
• Experience working with implementation partners and global process templates.
