Electronics Engineer (Space Propulsion)

Location: Verrières-le-Buisson, France; temporarily remote.

What you will do

• Design and refine electronics hardware, including PCBs, analog and digital circuits, and power management systems for space propulsion.
• Develop and execute testing procedures to validate hardware performance and reliability under extreme conditions.
• Use laboratory equipment to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize electronic systems and prototypes.
• Define and maintain electronics requirements in line with product design needs.
• Improve hardware design processes in accordance with aerospace quality standards and best practices.
• Integrate hardware with complete propulsion systems in collaboration with mechanical, software, industrialization, and physics specialists.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electronics engineering or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics design, including complex schematic diagrams.
• Ability to build and debug prototypes.
• Background in the design, simulation, prototyping, and testing of power converters or similar systems.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment for electronics testing and debugging.
• Software development skills for creating small Arduino scripts or modifying existing software to autonomously test hardware designs are an asset.
