Software Engineer - AI (Agentic Systems)

What you will do

• Build customer-facing agentic product experiences that simplify complex, multi-step financial and operational workflows.
• Design systems that enable agents to safely interact with structured application data and execute actions.
• Develop end-to-end AI workflows that replace repetitive, manual, and error-prone processes.
• Productionize AI capabilities and improve reliability, quality, monitoring, evaluation, and failure handling.
• Partner with product, engineers, domain experts, and customers to identify meaningful product applications for AI.
• Own ambiguous projects from problem definition through architecture, implementation, deployment, and iteration.

Requirements

• Strong senior-level software engineering experience with ownership of meaningful production systems.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, system design, data flows, reliability, and production failure modes.
• Backend or backend-leaning full-stack experience with the ability to deliver features end to end.
• High ownership and agency, including experience working in ambiguous environments where problems and roadmaps are not fully defined.
• Experience in high-performing engineering teams, scaling environments, or early-stage companies with highly visible individual contribution.
• Practical, hands-on understanding of modern AI and agentic systems, including their capabilities, limitations, and failure modes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect technical decisions with customer and product outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, fast-moving team with broad individual ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI systems and LLM-powered product experiences.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol-style integrations, evaluation and reliability tooling, backend and distributed systems, or workflow and data infrastructure.
• Specific language and framework experience will be discussed during the process.
