Systems Engineer - Atmospheric Systems (Semiconductor)

Location: US - Fremont, California; work arrangements may include a mix of in-office and remote work depending on the role and business needs.

Base salary range: $110,621.72–$149,664.68 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Design, define, and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies and analyses of existing systems.
• Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and operating parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
• Coordinate subsystem design and total-system integration.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies.
• Validate and test system-level tool performance based on subsystem performance and integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related discipline with at least 4 years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Hands-on systems engineering experience including design, troubleshooting, testing, and analysis.
• Experience with Design of Experiments and laboratory skills.
• Knowledge of reliability and/or statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of the V-model representation of a system development life cycle.
• Working knowledge of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data loggers.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and delivering semiconductor capital equipment to Tier 1 OEMs.
• Working knowledge of Creo CAD and Agile.
• Working knowledge of a scripting language such as Python.
