Operations & Supply Chain Advisory, Supervisor (Supply Chain)

Location: Chicago, United States; other locations include New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Boston. The role is aligned to an hirify.global office and involves approximately 50% travel.

Compensation range: $94,400–$178,800 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead workstreams and day-to-day delivery of operations and supply chain consulting engagements.
• Conduct operational assessments, process evaluations, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analyses.
• Develop future-state processes, operating models, performance metrics, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.
• Manage project plans, deliverables, quality, risks, mitigation strategies, and engagement economics.
• Build client relationships, communicate findings to leadership, and support issue resolution and stakeholder alignment.
• Lead, coach, and review the work of associates and senior associates while contributing to proposals, methodologies, recruiting, and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of management consulting or relevant industry experience focused on operations, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or performance improvement.
• Experience leading client workstreams and delivering complex transformation or operational improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with business process assessments, process mapping, operational analysis, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment and maintain strong client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%.

Nice to have

• APICS/ASCM certification, including CPIM or CSCP; Lean Six Sigma certification; or PMP certification.
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
• Experience with ERP-enabled transformations involving SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled process automation, demand forecasting, optimization tools, and GenAI-based solutions.
• Experience with private equity-backed portfolio companies or value creation initiatives.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
